Weekly Instruction
Learn the fine art methods of painting as you work at your own pace in the style and media of your choosing. An experienced instructor, Lina can work with you using your favorite art materials be it oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastel or collage and with any subject matter. Lina will offer personalized instruction and critique on an individual basis.
Classes run in 4 week series:

- Afternoon session 1-3pm
- Evening session 6-8 pm
Saturday Creativity Class
You never know what you will find yourself faced with in a Saturday session. Designed to blast through your artistic inhibitions while creating in a safe supportive environment, you may be challenged to work on location, take a field trip or make paper from junk mail. Anything and everything is possible and classes are designed to take you out of your comfort zone and encourage new heights of creativity. Bring your lunch and join in the fun.
Special Saturday sessions will be listed as Lina’s travel schedule allows.

Decorative Painting Beginning Oils
If you like the structure of the decorative painting step-by-step method, this 6 week class is for you. You will learn all the basic techniques of painting from color mixing to value placement and how to create form and dimension in objects. Time will be spent on proper brush control working with a pre-designed line drawing. From preparation of the surface to finishing methods you will be given all the techniques to complete three mini paintings that can be displayed separately of in the three paneled frame.
Class fee $150-all supplies are provided.

Decorative Painting Italian Style
Based on the techniques that Lina learned while studying in Florence, you will learn the time honored methods of creating the grotessca design. We will use casein paints to create panels suitable for framing. This class features old world methods for preparation and antiquing.
Class fee $75 per day-all supplies are provided.

Classes fill quickly so reserve your seat today. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t get into a class on the first try, you will be placed on a waiting list and called as soon as there is an opening.
Payment is due in full for the session prior to the first class of the series.
Missed session policy: if you must miss a class you are welcome to attend to one of the other sessions in progress. Only 1 class may be made up per session.
